The applicant must provide supporting documents such as an invitation letter from the conference organizers and must have a valid reason for attending the event.    

To take part in Short term training programs (less than one month)

ETA for Transit up to 02 days Free of Charge basis (Documentary proof needed)  

The ETA for Transit up to 02 days is a type of Sri Lanka evisa that is issued free of charge to those who intend to pass through Sri Lanka to reach another destination. This visa allows travelers to transit through Sri Lanka for a maximum of 48 hours, without having to pay any fee for the visa. However, the applicant must provide documentary evidence of their onward journey, such as a confirmed ticket for the next destination, as proof of their transit.

This type of visa is meant for travelers who are not planning to stay in Sri Lanka for an extended period, and have no other activities planned during their transit.
